GRP Hygienic Food Safe Doors

These GRP foodsafe doors are manufactured from reinforced polyester and contain no organic material. The pressure moulded smooth seamless construction is easy to clean, does not harbour bacteria and is unaffected by water, steam and most chemicals / cleaning agents. The doors are extremely strong and durable, yet light and easy to operate. The built-in colour is aesthetically pleasing and requires no maintenance. Unlike timber or steel doors they will not surface peel, warp, swell, rot or rust, even in the most arduous conditions. Doors are available as sliding or single / double action swing doors. Fire resistant versions are also available.

Single or pairs ‘S’ type double action swing door

Door	The ‘S’ type door is a solid, seamless, glass fibre reinforced polyester blade tapering 5/7 mm thick with a 40 mm reinforced spine section, providing increased strength for the hinges.

Frames	Doors can be supplied as a complete doorset with frames manufactured from GRP, powder coated steel, stainless steel, aluminium or to suit client’s own frames.

Colour	Super White or choice of 32 other standard colours. Also available with in-built anti-bacterial protection.

Hinges	Fitted with self-lubricating, double action Delrin integral spring hinges self closing or with 90° hold-open facility.

Fittings	Acrylic vision panels in ABS plastic frames are fitted as standard.

Protection	Tough rubber, smooth PVC cladding or spring bumpers to protect against impact damage from trolleys is recommended.

Single or pairs ‘K’ type single and double action doors (also available insulated)

Door	The ‘K’ type single action door is constructed of seamless, glass fibre reinforced polyester encapsulating high density close cell CFC free core, total thickness 40 mm.

Frames	Doors can be supplied for as a complete doorset with frames manufactured from GRP, powder coated steel, stainless steel or aluminium (double action doors can be fitted to suit certain client’s own frames) and seals can be incorporated within the frame rebate.

Colour	Super White or choice of 32 other standard colours. Also available with in-built anti-bacterial protection.

Hinges	Fitted with stainless steel lift-off hinges or integral self closing spring hinges. Double action doors fitted with self- lubricating Delrin integral spring hinges self closing or with 90° hold-open facility.

Fittings	Double glazed vision panels fitted flush with both faces of the door can be factory fitted, along with a full range of quality door furniture, such as locks, handles, door closers, flush bolts, panic bars etc.

Automation	The doors can be automated with electric or pneumatic operators, activated by infra-red, photocells, card readers, radar etc.

Protection	Double action doors are tough rubber, smooth PVC cladding or spring bumpers to protect against impact damage from trolleys is recommended.

Single leaf or bi-parting ‘K’ type sliding doors

Door	Constructed of seamless, glass fibre reinforced polyester encapsulating high density close cell CFC free core, total thickness 40 mm.

Frames	Door frames manufactured from GRP, powder coated steel, stainless steel or aluminium.

Colour	Super White or choice of 32 other standard colours. Also available with in-built anti-bacterial protection.

Track	The door is hung on extruded track with sealed-for-life nylon bearings complete with aluminium or stainless steel canopy.

Fittings	Double glazed vision panels fitted flush with both faces of the door can be factory fitted, along with a full range of quality door furniture, such as locks, handles, door closers, flush bolts, panic bars etc.

Automation	Doors can be automated with electric or pneumatic operators controlled by radar, infra-red, card swipe etc.

Fittings	Double glazed vision panels finished flush with both faces of door surface can be factory fitted, along with a range of quality door furniture such as pull handles, flush pulls etc.
